IARC International Course on Cancer Epidemiology - Principles and Methods

The course will focus on the practical application of epidemiological principles and methods to the various cancer control activities, ranging from the search for the causes of cancer to the implementation and evaluation of control programmes. It is intended for clinicians, public health specialists and other health-related professionals who work, or intend to work, in cancer control activities.
The course will be given in the International Dateline Hotel, where the faculty will be accommodated. Participants can stay at this hotel or chose alternatives. Help with reservations will be provided after candidate applications have been accepted.
The working language of the course will be English, and participants will be expected ot have sufficient knowledge of spoken and written English to participate actively in discussions.
