Hajar Ali

Hajar Ali is a Research Officer and PhD Candidate at the Centre. Hajar has recently completed a degree in Biomedical Sciences (Hons), majoring in Human Genetics and Pathology (Victoria University) and a postgraduate Diploma in Public Health (Massey University). Her research interests are mainly focused on neurogenic and non-inflammatory mechanisms of asthma, which are also the topics of her PhD.
Hajar’s current work involves coordinating a Health Research Council funded project investigating the non-inflammatory mechanisms of asthma in a cohort of adolescents in Wellington and Christchurch.
